MohammadAli Daeian

PhD Student

MohammadAli obtained his B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in mechanical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. During his master's studies, his research focused on numerical study of water flow in grooved hydrophobic microchannel using Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM). His research interests center around study of flow behavior in microfluidics and biological systems using computational methods (LBM, FSI, etc.). Currently MohammadAli is working as a PhD student in Cardiovascular Research Lab. He is working on developing computational frameworks using LBM to investigate blood flow dynamics in the presence of cardiovascular diseases and devices.

Outside the lab: MohammadAli is a big fan of hiking and he enjoys reading literature and learning new languages.
